We went to The Great Wall recently for a ConocoPhillips clean up day. They donated a sizable amount to maintain a park that has a trail leading right up to the Wall. The trail was pretty empty but the Wall was Packed with people. It seems we keep going places on holidays. It was some holiday where the younger people take their Elders to climb mountains...Hence: everyone in Beijng, it seemed, was at the Wall. We went before the clean up and climbed up the wall pretty far. Here are some pictures.
