MIA

We sure have been MIA, huh?  I will blame Mom.  We have been super busy, so I will give a quick update on the Butterfields....

Jackson started preschool under an autism diagnosis.  He has improved a lot.  He is talking way more now and learning to be social.  He recently learned to ride a bike with training wheels.  He loves swimming and beaches.  He is obsessed with cars, trains, planes, etc.

Belle is talking a LOT now.  She never stops talking and she just cracks herself up.  Her hair is finally gettign long and it's still super blonde and super curly.

We got a puppy in April.  She is so adorable.  Her name is Charkie and she is a morkie(maltese/yorkie mix).  She is so good with the kids, but we are still working on potty training her.

Both kids are potty trained. Hallelujah no more dipaers!!

Tom earned his BS in Operations Management.  Jacque earned her MS in Physics and is writing her thesis right now.  Both are currently applying for jobs and have their eyes on a specific set of jobs.

Baby update

Well, as of today the doctor says we probably won't meet Jackson for at least another week. Just thought I'd throw in that update for anyone who reads this blog, but not mine...

Oh, and we are almost done with finals... we each have 2 things left to survive...

Getting huge!

Here is my most recent baby belly picture. We took it less than a week ago, so it is pretty current. All I have to say is he is getting way too big and he is also extremely active...if it weren't for finals, I'd be ready to get him out now.

Video Cameras Rock!

We ordered a video camera so we will have one for all the exciting new baby things and it came yesterday. It seems like a pretty good one and I have already experimented with editing and such. I'm really liking it. I posted a video tour of our yard over on our blog. That is what we have been working on lately, well, besides school. It turns out there actually is grass out there, so we are cutting down weeds and cleaning things up and we have weed and feed to put out if it ever stops snowing down here. We even have a garden and flower beds marked out with seeds to plant. WE are really excited. Also, then fence is usable (we will have to add to it for privacy later) and the gates will be easy to fix. And as long as the money is available, I told Tom for his Father's Day present I will let him build a porch.... Yay for yard!

7 months down, 2 to go...

I still seem to be the only one posting here.... too bad...

Tom and I went to Idaho this week. That was alot of fun. We started childbirth class today and now I am torn about epidurals. I still have some time to decide though. Time is getting short, but I haven't run out just yet. Hmm....that's all for now, but I just updated my blog if you want more....

Dead blog

Did our blog die? I am the only one posting and it has been over a week since I posted. I was trying to let someone else post before I posted again, losers.... So Tom has an iphone now and we just got it all set up and he is on the phone with Sprint canceling. Yay! Now I can talk to him on the phone as much as I want! He can also talk to his friend Andy all he wants until June when Andy switches companies. Anyways, back to homework...

Space Ice Cream

Anybody else remember the good old days when we would go to that awesome museum place by the zoo in Oklahoma? I loved that place! And every time we went we got space ice cream. I miss the stuff. Well, today Tom and I got to wander the planetarium and I made him get some because it has become my personal tradition and he had never heard of it. I don't think he loves it like I do, but he seemed to enjoy it. What was that place called anyways? It was SO much fun! How much work would it take to start my own someday, you think?

Anyways, I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's Day! Love you all!

Baby Butterfield

Jackson has been kicking up a storm lately. He kicks the most when something is on my lap, including my phone. The other day he kicked it hard enough that we could see my phone move. He seems to stop when Tom puts his hands on my belly though. He already knows his daddy....cute

Other than that we are just plugging through school and almost done with our bathroom remodel. Check out my blog for the latest pictures and keep looking here because Morgan should be posting soon.

Jacque's BYU Graduation

Jacque with Dad and
Grandpa and Grandma
Jackson @ BYU Graduation

Jacque with our friends
Bob, T and Roy Nash

I'm not sure who the other men are,
but this is Jacque and Darron at
Her graduation.

Haha, that was Mom. Let me butt in... the man to my left is Cecil (aka President Samuelson) and the other is the Honors Dean. Sadly, I can't remember his name at the moment, but I took a class from him and Alison and I called him Prof. Plum, like from the game Clue.

Baby Jackson is coming!

So for those of you who don't see me on a regular basis, which is basically all of you, I decided to post a few pictures of my current baby belly. Jackson is a BIG boy and he kicks me alot. Tom can even feel his kicks now, too. He kicks alot when he thinks I am smashing him, even sometimes when I lay on my side. He's even kicking the computer on my lap right now.... silly boy

Representing the Butterfields

I'm Jacque Butterfield, oldest daughter of Darron and Julie. I got married to my husband Tom this past summer and we are expecting our first baby in May. We are both full time students with jobs as well. We bought a house right after our honeymoon and that has been non-stop craziness!! We have been remodeling it since the day we bought it. Despite all that work, and how messy it makes my house, the biggest excitement in my life is expecting my baby. Life has certainly gotten crazy, but I can't wait to meet him in 3 months! We have named him Jackson Rodney Butterfield and he is doing great so far. We also have a kitty cat - a Siberian. Her name is Sasha and she is almost 2 years old now and very special. Lately, she is obsessed with the ice machine. It cracks us up. Here are a few pictures so you can get to know us.

You can also learn more about us and our crazy lives by going to our blog, which is linked in the side bar.
