Things that are Happening.

Tom and Jacque toured the hospital this week and finished their class on how to have a baby and live through it:) She is excited and terrified all rolled into one big heap of nerosis. Ha Ha. I'm pretty excited to be a grandma. It will be a whole new chapter for us. It is funny how one chapter fades out and another begins. Jacque and Tom are busy right now finishing up the semester of school. They are still working on the house every chance and penny they can. Jacque says it looks like some grass is even growing in the yard. We weren't sure there was any out there.
Andy is all moved into his new digs. He got a small townhouse apartment on his own..he got a job, too. He is working as the EMT in charge of the night shift at the county jail in Lubbock, TX. He is liking it. Until tonight he had been sleeping on the floor...found him a bed on Craigslist, we found a sofa and loveseat, too. He still needs to get kitchen stuff and groceries! He is studying to take the Paramedic test very soon and then he will get paid a few more dollars an hour. He's already had all the schooling for it.
Big news on the home front. Ben cleared 6'10" in the high jump this weekend. It was a good first official track meet. It was pretty obvious he still has more in him, too. The BYU track coach said that would bump up his scholarship. His jump was on the news and with a short interview. He was pretty excited but not satisfied!!!! He got his dad's truck out of it. They had a long-standing deal that if he jumped higher than the state record he could have his truck. Poor Darron :( He was so happy about Ben's success he didn't even care. He now drives a yellow jeep but he moved up to the garage. (Truck doesn't fit)

  1. Ben is such a goober face, but I can't believe how high he can jump. And I am way excited to have him down here next year! And to see Grandma in two months :-)
